MTP offers a strong, standard-based and configurable, security implementation, enabling secure point-to-point transactions over the air and in proximity environments. The platform’s security philosophy is driven by authenticating the user, device, and domain, for every transaction, with additional support for customer specific multi-factor authentication schemes.

While the above figure is not exhaustive, it outlines some of the points of vulnerability between a client device and back-end host system that are protected by C-SAM’s security implementation. Additionally, the MTP can be interfaced with existing HSM and KMS. The MTP can also be interfaced with (single or multiple) TSMs, CAs, Smart Card Management Systems and SIM OTA.

The platform’s unique security architecture supports different trust models and aggregation of disparate domains without disintermediation between the provider host and end-user devices, enabling the provider hosts to leverage their existing trust and risk management practices.
